Selected work

Three projects, told properly.

Each one has a case study — what it had to do, what I chose, what it cost, what I’d change.

Featuredsimulation & optimisationRestart Lab

A set-piece simulator that refuses to lie. It plays a corner out thousands of times, scores every chance with a real expected-goals model, and won't call a routine a winner unless it beats random search first.

OPTIMISATION STUDY
Client workBath University Boat ClubBUBC

A club website rebuilt to outlive the committee that commissioned it. Editors publish a race report in five minutes, it targets 95+ on Lighthouse, and it runs for about ten pounds a year.

HOMEPAGE
Researchfinal-year dissertationThe Bike Fit Study

Fifty-one riders, three sessions each, asking whether a professional bike fit actually changes what the body does — and whether it differs between men and women. I designed the protocol, ran every session, and built the pipeline from raw sensor stream to finding.

Experience

Where the work has happened.

2024 — 2025
Software Engineer, Kontron

A year on the Kontron Device Management product, across development and QA. Shipped Angular and TypeScript features from first bug fix to full sets, documented more than fifty defects, and built the Jenkins test runner that finally got dev-ops and the dev team running the same suite.

2026
Sponsorship analytics extern, NY Racing

Building the visibility model behind NASCAR sponsorship ROI: a full Cup Series season of race results joined to Reddit, YouTube and news exposure, then tested for what actually moves together.

2023 — 2025
Student Ambassador and peer mentor, University of Bath

Led campus tours and virtual open days for the computer science course, and mentored first-year students through their first months.

About
Three first-class years at Bath, a placement year shipping enterprise software, and a seat in the university’s first boat. I like hard problems and honest results, and I’ll go a long way for both — including a month alone in Peru.

CV & contact

The paperwork, on request.

Education, grades and the full project record — sent personally, because a CV carrying my phone number doesn’t belong on the open internet.
